While most pioneers of advanced science strive towards the betterment of the world, most of the time, the one who funds and provides the materials for such experiments aim for something far more valuable (in the short run), sports entertainment!
I, Baron Peabody, present the Enemy Gauntlet! Within a secured area, utilizing the sophisticated Simulacannon 1.1 (invented and tested by Prof. Hansted himself), a well protected referee will pull the trigger and clone the deadliest creatures imaginable. Think you’re quick to the cut? Is your guild suited to claim the throne? Show me! With your team of specialists, survive and be the fastest to defeat the opponents that appear before you and win. If you are beaten, your precious EXP won’t be deducted, so no hard feelings when you lose.
Triumph or defeat, it matters not. Joy in action is the purest form.
~*Baron Peabody
