Hear ye!

The Halloween Chrysalis Derby will take place on October 13, 2009, at 5:00 PM PST. You will need your trusty mounts to compete. Any player that wins the race in their nation will receive a prize. However, if that player wins using a mount from the premium shop, they will receive an even better prize, something that very few have seen. So make sure your mounts are well fed and rested, because October 13 will be a very special day for at least 2 Chrysalis inhabitants.

How to race:
There will be two races, one for Elerd and one for Rogwel. All races will be held on Battleforge.

Elerd: 5:00 PM PST
Rogwel: 5:30 PM PST

Info:
Please show up to Point A at least 5 minutes before the race is to begin. The GM will instruct racers to say "Ready" to make sure they are participating. Once the race has started you will head to point B, get off your mount and perform a "Dance" emote. Then you will get back on your mount and head to Point C. You will perform a second "Dance" emote at Point C and then head off to the finish line, Point D. The first person who gets to Point D and touches a GM will be declared the winner. Note: We will verify that the winner has performed the dance emote at all beginning points to be declared the winner.

Prizes: Blazing Chopper Mount!!


Premium: 30 Day Blazing Chopper Mount
Non-Premium: 7 Day Blazing Chopper Mount

Changes: There will now be 2 prizes given out per nation, the first Pom to reach the end will receive a prize and then the first Non-Pom to reach the end will receive a prize. The prize will still depend if your mount is premium or non-premium.

Course Map and Coordinates: Details on how the course is set up will be posted 15 minutes before the race.

don't the gold crowns have a mount that is faster then any other mount, and what about poms and the mount speed passive spell, does that mean poms will have the upper hand in this >.<

Yes, so basically a pom with gold crown will have a high chance of winning. *cough* Franky *cough*

So how long do we have to dance? 5 secs? Also what do you GM mean exactly by "The first person who gets to Point D and touches a GM will be declared the winner." Do we have to get off our mounts and walk up to you or get in a trade with you?

During the race one of our non-pom racers were dismounted somehow and wasn't by an attack.

Anywho, one of the rog racers didn't dance in part C and was disqualified XD... apparently he didn't know about it on the forums.

And I didn't get any free pumpkin hat from those floating pumpkins >.<... and my pufu was out of controled and went in circles for awhile before going back in the race and wouldn't stop running over the GMs at the finish line XD.
